Filipino Independence Day Celebration in Dublin

Last Saturday, 20th of June 2009 was a huge gathering of ALL the Filipinos in Ireland. It was held in St. Anne's Park, Dublin. It reminded me of BARRIO FIESTA in LONDON where I attended too about a couple of years ago.

I've learned and was stunned by the numbers of Filipinos living here now in Ireland. It's about 22,000 (unofficial estimate).. I supposed, the entire population of the Filipinos are about 80-90 million already?!? Which means, we're just some spills here, WHEW!

After being up all night, stayed until 5AM GMT (Sunday, 3rd May) just to watch LIVE pay per view of the most awaited fight of the year 2009 in boxing history! Everything paid off as THE FILIPINO's FIST (He's known for) MANNY WON the fight against RICKY HATTON by KO in 2nd ROUND just about 10seconds before the bell rings.. JAi HO (Indian words) means VICTORY in case you wonder?!?

Once again, I'm proud of my origin! Go PiNOY! :)

Pacman vs. Hatton TRAILER!

Back home (Philippines), people adore boxing and basketball and I'm no exemption! I grew up watching MJ as in Michael Jordan playing basketball.. Thrilled in every play and AIRSHOW he did during that time.. And excited when there's a boxing fight I watched (of course if they're good fighters)..

As we are counting the days onto the BIG FIGHT of the CHAMP PACMAN and the brit challenger RICKY HATTON..(2nd of MAY) Here's some CLIPS that would tease you guys!

Oh yes, she is a serious singer! Most of the talk shows in AMERICA have invited her already including such OPRAH WINFREY and a lot more.
