the REPORTAGE

They were captured in their natural ways..

First!

This was the first wedding I covered here in Ireland.. I can still remember the day when I handed the album to the BRIDE.. She was so delighted about the outcome and the HUSBAND said to me "are you sure this is your first time?" with that, I was pleased.. it was great working with you at your big day CATHERINE and MICHAEL.

My lovely assistant

Oh yes I'm obliged to say "lovely" haha! well, indeed my work is lovelier when she's around (these are the words you should say husbands, haha!).

My Place

Foot SPA.. you got it right! Instead of waiting for my wife to finish whatever pampering she was upto, I decided to join her.. I was tired going around the shopping centre, so then I said hmn why not go have some massage on my feet. Believe it or not it was only about 6 euros for an hour of foot pampering. Aah, it felt great!
This is where I stay when I'm back home.. My place is on the 11th floor. It's near the international airport where you can see the AIR STRIP from up above. On the roof top, that's where we had our photoshoot 5 days after our wedding.

Aah, such a LIFE..hehe! ..it's nice here, so private, non-owners are not allowed.. 24/7 security guards ;)

Newbie

Indeed I'm new to blogging especially using this blogger site. I was thinking, before I showcase what I have done so far in photography, why not show my very own wedding? To be honest, what inspired me more to become a wedding photographer was that during the planning and organizing stage, I happenned to be so hands on. I have experienced the hassle, fuss, of course the fun and everything you can imagine. So then I thought, aside from the vow itself.. it is a very serious business! Having into that situation, I now understand how the couple become nervous especially the bride on the day itself. Because after going through that hard planning, you always wanted your guests to say WOW! ...Photographers and videographers are always essential in weddings because you wanted to document each moment..it can only happen once.

As your photographer, YOU will definitely be my STAR, you will have your own dialogue and scripts but don't worry I will be there to guide you and document the magical experience, the details of your day. I will be your story teller using your photographs.

Anyhow, you can browse my own wedding photos after this post. Enjoy! ;)

Been there

Yes, I was there as well.. Been there, done that! I could still remember the moment when I asked my sweetie LORA if she could marry me. I drove her down to HOOK HEAD (where there's a HUGE lighthouse) and presented her ''the rock''. Inspite of the fact that she half believed it, half not..Of course she did say ''YES'' hehe! (she's been waiting for that,haha-stop pinching me,hehe). I know for a fact that having a wedding is having a preparation indeed. With my vision in mind of a cinematic wedding, we then planned. It's not just the bride they say, it's also about the groom(somehow-hehe).

I then believed that.. ''at the end of the day, cake will be eaten, guests will have gone home.. but the captured moments will become cherish memories''

Having said that, we gathered all the people who we think can make OUR WEDDING so special to what we were upto.

Here are the photographs and the slide show taken from our pre-nuptials/engagement sessions, the BIG DAY itself, and the DAY after.
The photographs below were taken by different photographers but yours truly tweaked them according to my taste and visual sense.
